Unpublishing an App from the Android App Store Follow
Beginning March 1, 2023 apps created for Pathable will no longer be supported.
It is strongly recommended that any app created for Pathable be removed from the Android App Store / Google Play Console to prevent end users from attempting to download and/or having a negative experience with a previously downloaded app (failure to open, app crash).
For information on removing Apple apps, visit this article.
To remove an app from the Google Play Console first, log into the Google Play Console then use the dropdown menu to select the correct account.
Note: If your app was created on the Pathable, Inc. Google Play Console your Implementation Specialist or Support staff will need to unpublish the app for you; please reach out to them directly before continuing.
Once you have selected the account, use the left navigation menu to choose All Apps and select the app to be unpublished.
Clicking into the app, use the left navigation menu and choose Setup > Advanced Settings. Within the Advanced Settings page choose App Availability, select the radio button Unpublished and save the changes.
Once complete the app status changes and the app will no longer be visible in the Google Play Store.
Note: Users who have downloaded the app will not receive a communication that indicates the app is no longer available.
For additional information please visit the Play Console Help Center.
