The 2.16.0 release includes multilingual capabilities for desktop and mobile web, new static texts options for customization, and People Profile location indicators.
Multilingual Capabilities
With v2.16.0 it is possible to add new languages to translate all the static texts on Pathable desktop and mobile websites. Native App translation to come in a later release. This also allows the end user/attendee to toggle the site to display in the language they choose.
This release provides initial computer-generated translation for the following languages:
French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai
It will also be possible to add new terms via imports and work with tokens to provide translations for some custom fields, e.g. desktop header or session names.

New static texts
More static text options have been added to the list of customizable terms in Language & Terms.

Event Type Toggle
This three-way toggle under the Admin Settings will set the event type to "in-person", "hybrid" or "virtual". Depending on how this is set will determine additional features to be accessible, including an indicator on people profiles and in-person and virtual segmented metrics.
Due to the mass amount of features this toggle can affect, we have added an additional confirmation prompt to ensure that changing the event to different type is needed. Once the event type is changed, the below rules for the indicator on people profiles take effect.
Hybrid Indicator on People Profiles
The hybrid indicator on people profiles allows for a visual reference of where each attendee is accessing the event from: in-person or virtual. In-person attendees will display a small blue pointed marker near their profile, indicating that they are at a physical location. If the attendee is set to Virtual, they are shown with a small cloud icon indicating that they are attending remotely.
You can also search and filter in the attendee directory for both types.
Rules:
- If the event is set to "in-person", the default attendee type will be set to "in-person" and the in-person indicator will be shown near their profile picture.
- If the event is set to "virtual", the default attendee type will be se to "virtual" and the virtual indicator will be shown near their profile picture.
- If the event is set to "hybrid", the default attendee type will be set to "in-person" and the in-person indicator will be shown near their profile picture.
Miscellanious Items and Improvements:
Error messages have been added in admin and in agenda imports that will indicate there is an issue of the external ID containing a blank space.
